Strummer has just launched their Spring 2011/12 collection, “Halcyon Days” which has been influenced by the feeling of the movement of time.When the brand launched in 2008, there was a definite connection to the style that the 1970′s music scene projected. “Halcyon Days” transforms these nostalgic styles and transforms them into a modern collection, utilising clean lines, and structured tailoring.

The launch party, celebrated the SS11/12 collection, which was designed by Edwina Hagon who collaborated with Sydney based furniture designer Henry Wilson. For the first time, a mens capsule collection was also launched. Strummer has projected their  aesthetic by taking inspirations of the past such as controversial cult 60’s folk singer Vashti Bunyan and creating a modern unique collection. READ MORE …
