Best Dressed Of 2011

In a year of colour blocking, sky-high heels and dropped hemlines (perhaps due the Mad Men influence), this year saw a new breed of style stars spread their wings on the red carpet. While we do agree with the all-time fashionistas whose classic elegance tops these lists every year, AKA Gwyneth Patrow, Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry and Jen Aniston, we want to acknowledge the new generation of designer-clad beauties.

The following five ladies have made their mark career-wise and have also stepped up to the plate with their winning wardrobes.

Emma Stone always glows on the the red carpet, especially in this coral Carven gown.

Jamie Chung, from the film Sucker Punch, rocked this canary yellow Giambattista Valli floor-length dress.

Ashley Greene was introduced to audiences as a Cullen family member, but the Twilight: Breaking Dawn star has stepped out from Edward and Bella’s shadow and showed off in her gorgeous Ferragamo outfit.

Freida Pinto gave the olive green hue a new fashion birth as one of the only people in the world to pull off this colour clock successfully. Hats off to her!

And last, not certainly not least, Emma Watson can’t go wrong. The starlet has grown and matured into a lovely young woman with a kick-ass wardrobe. Her Elie Saab ensemble had fans at the Harry Potter premiere in absolute awe.
