DOLLY Magazine Model Search Returns

Way back when we were crushing over JTT (Jonathan Taylor Thomas), a young girl named Miranda Kerr was crowned the 1997 DOLLY Model Search winner. Since then, she has been plastered over hundreds of magazines and became the first Australian model to receive a contract with Victoria’s Secret in 2007. It’s been 10 years since DOLLY held the last model search but this year they are bringing the competition back!

The DOLLY Model Search claims to be different from other modelling competitions as they are looking for more than just a pretty face.

“The winner will be a role model for teenagers. As well as scoring a modelling contract, the winner will be a spokesperson for DOLLY for a year. She has a healthy outlook on life, a well-rounded personality and the ability to represent herself in front of a crowd. In short, we’re looking for the entire package!”

If you think you’re supermodel material in-the-making, or have a friend, cousin or sister that is so aesthetically pleasing its a mystery as to why they haven’t been spotted earlier register online and head down to your closest audition venue!
