Everybody’s Loving Baby Blue Eyes

It was all about getting the blues at the Chanel haute couture show in Paris recently and it hasn’t taken taken long to make waves in the beauty world. Baby blue eyes are feminine, innocent and calm – a look that never gets tired. But it has been revamped and is looking sexy and smouldering with blue overtaking black for a different take on the smoky eye.  

For the Chanel show, a grayish-blue pencil was used to contour the eyes and give them a larger appearance. This liner was then complemented with a paler silvery blue on the inner corners of the eyes, and very subtly under the brow. A deep blue marine colour was then to used to line, and the eyes were finished with lashings of black mascara. Nude, glossed lips and a simple, yet flawless, complexion saw all attention drawn the models’ baby blues.  Perfectly groomed brows, and a shiny, clipped manicure with blue nail polish completed the look!
