First look at Balmain’s Second line with Abbey Lee

We know you will probably never be able to afford that $10,000 Balmain dress, but guess what? The luxury brand is going to offer a diffusion line of sorts from Spring 2012 onwards which will launch at Paris Fashion Week and we have the first sneak peek. In the new video, directed by photography duo Inez and Vinoodh we see our very own Abbey Lee and her band Our Mountain (who also counts her boyfriend Matthew Hutchinson as lead singer) around the streets of Brooklyn and New York in the side lines first collection.

The line which will be slightly more affordable at about $167 for a tee and $1270 for a dress is seemingly everything you would expect from Balmain with lots of animal print, tight zip detailed pants, baggy boyfriend tees and cropped leather jackets. It’s very rock and roll and very Balmain and we personally can’t wait for the full unveiling of the collection this weekend.
