First look: Mary Katrantzou for Topshop

We all need a little colour in our lives and what better way to get some than from fashion’s print queen for less than half the price? Yep, that’s right: Mary Katrantzou is returning to Topshop for her third and biggest collection to date and we have the first pictures.

Due to hit the chain stores website and 9 stores around the UK at 9am London time on the Feb 17th (that’s 10pm for us), the collection is unlike anything else the designer has previously created for the brand with creations looking more like her own collections than then her staple full previous Topshop collaborations.

Inspired by her autumn 2011 collection, the Spring orientated 10-piece line features everything that Mary has become famous for: unusual and clashing prints, vibrant colours and smart, unique tailoring in everything from great party wear to shift dresses to casual tees and leggings.

Priced from about $59 to $515, the collection is not bargain basement pricing nor regular chain store pricing but is a lot more pocket-friendly than Katrantzou’s own line where handmade dresses can go for about $12,500 and really where will you get such fantastic prints for any less?

Make sure to jump on Topshop.com this Friday as these items will go fast but for now check out the rest of pictures of the collection below.

Update: Topshop Melbourne have announced they will be receiving stock from the line as well. Check out Topshop Australia on Twitter to find out more.
