How to Wear the Pastel Blazer
Getting bored of your classic black blazer? Put a spring in your step with trying a pastel colour instead. Whether it’s a chalk orange, blush or a neutral, freshen up your wardrobe with a lighter variety of blazers and jackets and have a play around with different colours.
For a blush or dusky pink blazer - White blouse over light denim shorts is simple and a spring classic. As winter is here, you might want to consider swapping the shorts for full length pants and opting for a longer sleeved blouse. Combined with a neutral white, the blazer will pop. This is an easy combo to pull off for almost any occasion.
If you want you could try a top in a complimentary colour, or try a trio of colours – mix up the blazer, top and bottom.
Accessories, shoes and bags – opt for neutral coloured accessories, especially if you have gone for a coloured top or bag. Think whites, browns and blacks, but you don’t have to stick to plain block colours. A carved wooden bangle or tortoise-shell sunnies will totally work. Most neutral bags will work, but try grabbing a bold coloured bag for visual interest; if your blazer is pastel pink – try a brazen red bag.
