Breakfast At Tiffany's

LMFF Hosts Breakfast At Tiffany’s

The 2threads team spent a delightful morning at  Tiffany & Co. on Collins Street to celebrate the LMFF 2012 National Designer Award and the launch of their new range called Rubedo 1837. Gourmet treats and sparking wine at 9am added to the ornate setting filled with an array of designers, industry experts and media representatives.

The collection marks Tiffany & Co’s 175th Anniversary and employs a unique metal blend; marrying the richness of gold, the brilliance of silver and the warmth of copper. The rings, cuffs and necklaces add a whole new dimension to Tiffany & Co and each piece has been stamped with the signature of founder Charles Lewis.

“In the 1850′s Tiffany & Co. established a silver studio which produced groundbreaking exhibits. At the 1867 Paris Fair, Tiffany’s lavishly chased silver inlaid with gold, copper and enamel won the grand prize for silver craftsmanship.” (Press Tiffany). Thus Tiffany’s Rubedo has been crafted in this great tradition. The luminous creations are available online and at select Tiffany & Co. stores worldwide!

During the ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ the collection was brought to life by five flawless models moving elegantly around the room allowing us to whistfully admire each piece and how they present.
