The oversized clutch is chic and glamorous and is perfect for day and night. Mary Kate has been spotted around town with the same clutch in a glamorous night outfit and in jeans and a tank. The clutch has evolved from small and dainty to large and something you can fit all of your items into.

For some people the oversized clutch can be too much of a statement and like with most statement pieces they are afraid of the consequences of too much at once. For the less daring wear a simple outfit and make the oversized clutch your main accessory.

For girls with curves the oversized clutch is a way to draw attention away from less-loved areas of your body. An oversized clutch works wonders for a "bigger" girl because it is attention grabbing just like a chunky ring or a stack of statement bangles.

Petite girls don\’t need to steer clear of this trend, however. As you can see the tiny Mary Kate Olsen wears this clutch well. However, it is important to consider what proportions you are wearing. Meaning if you are wearing something that is loose and flowly an oversized clutch will not work as well just as if you were wearing something that highlighted your figure too much [skin tight clothing is a no].

It is important to remember that on some occassions the oversized clutch is not acceptable. For a glamorous event where you are in a gorgeous gown a clutch that size will not go. A smaller clutch will be more appropriate and make your outfit that much better.
