Maurie & Eve AW 12 – First Look

Despite the currently warm weather, the new Maurie & Eve collection proves we have a lot to look forward to next winter. The much-loved label has released a sneak peak of their upcoming lookbook, and have once again proved they are a driving force in the Australian designer market.

The collection features the key trends of the upcoming season with a twist, including the return of the graphic print that was a favourite in their SS 11 collection, as well as the re-emergence of florals, proving that this is one label not afraid to challenge the classic winter trends.

Yet, there is no question that the label has grown, with the more sophisticated tailoring found in the palazzo pants and sleek blouses that cater to a more mature customer than usual, while still maintaining a dash of femininity. The chunky knits are the perfect addition to a collection of predominately transeasonal pieces, sure to take the edge off those cooler winter days.

Next year can’t come soon enough!

The collection is called ‘Someone Like You’ and will be available in stores in February 2012.
