MyCatwalk Launches Nowhere By Elin Kling During MBFWA
With everything that was happening last week during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia in Sydney it was hard to keep up with all the extra add-on events happening around town – and this was quite an important one, especially for model turned fashion blogger Elin Kling.
Kling made sure her visit to launch her label, Nowhere, in Australia at the MyCatwalk boutique in Double Bay, coincided with the fashion week festivities.
With the recent relaunch of the online fashion store, MyCatwalk is taking a new direction by adding physical boutiques to their designer e-tail store, which has grown from strength to strength over the past few years and partnering with Elin Kling was another natural progression for the store.
Creative director Marlene Mangioni said joining forces with Kling was part of the evolution of MyCatwalk:
“Nowhere is one of the most exciting brands I have come across in my career. Elin Kling’s creative direction and worldwide style status made the Nowhere brand a stand out for me, and after meeting her in New York, I instantly knew it was the perfect collaboration for MyCatwalk.”
Sydney’s style set were out in force for the official launch party with Elin Kling joined by Lara Bingle, Kate Waterhouse, Pip Edwards, Camilla Freeman-Topper and Gail Elliot. The 150 guests included fashion and beauty media, designers, bloggers, industry leaders and the store’s VIP clientele.
The ‘Nowhere’ collection balances function with originality by focusing on key wardrobe pieces punctuated by creatively cut silhouettes. Nowhere will launch on MyCatwalk.com and in all four MyCatwalk stores in July.
