Trend Alert: Spots

You could argue that the recent spot saturation on the runway, blogosphere and in stores across the country is due to the much loved cartoon character Minnie Mouse who first rocked polka dots back in the 1940s. Recently, the trend has made pitstops at Lanvin, Commes Des Garcon and Stella McCartney.

It has taken almost a year for the spots to reach Aussie shores but we can expect top retailers such as Sportsigirl, Dotti and Topshop to project this revived print! Putting their own spin on the print, we will see spots on blouses, jumpers, skinny jeans, leggings, scarves and they will even sporadically sprout through accessory ranges.
