2threads goes shopping at Westfield Doncaster

With so many new looks and trends out this Spring Summer we took a trip to Westfield Doncaster for a Spring Summer shopping spree, putting together the perfect outfits for the season! Whether you’re after a dressy evening outfit, or relaxed beachwear, Westfield Doncaster has the hottest labels all under one roof!

We started on a mission to find the perfect day to night outfit, we were after something that can be styled for a day out shopping or lunch by the beach then to dinner and drinks on a summer’s night. As soon as we walked into Dotti we knew we would find what we were looking for! We were surrounded by bright and fun displays, which got us excited for summer by the beach with a bright colored dress and straw hat. We also picked up some great colour blocking looks, rocking a blue blazer over a red shirt dress! Dotti also had a huge accessories range including oversized bags, bright clutches and floppy hats to compliment any outfit!

We then went searching for accessories. When shopping for accessories, whether it is hats, bags, scarves or jewellery, this season Mimco have it all! If you want to colour block, the clutches in store were to die for! Or, if colour isn’t your thing, we could not part with the amazing range of over sized neutral bags. For Spring Summer, we were after a statement accessory, and we knew we had found it when we came across this super chic red wide brimmed floppy hat. Mimco also had a huge range of colourful summery scarves which are ideal for the heat wave trend, style them from day to night!

Walking through Westfield Doncaster you can really feel the summer vibe, with colours and beautiful designs throughout the stores. Sass & Bide, of course did not disappoint. Not only did they blow us away with the stunning burst of colour this season, but the collection also presented lots and lots of prints. Sass & Bide makes styling the Graphica trend a breeze. Just add a printed throw over any outfit, to bring that edge! We purchased a gorgeous watermelon throw over that has a stunning orange collar. If you want to mix and match colour and print, try teaming up a black and white print shirt with an orange suede blazer! Ah pure Spring Summer bliss!

Our next mission was to find a statement piece for those long summer nights out. We popped by Christensen Copenhagen for some high end designer fashion. The store was filled with the most gorgeous and unique designs. We loved this studded leather vest! But what grabbed our attention were all the chic whites which were incredible for styling the white craft trend.  This Spring Summer, try styling a white on white outfit for this simple and chic trend, like a white tee, white skirt or shorts and a blazer!

With so many outfits on the way, it was definitely time for some shoe shopping. Our one stop shoe destination was of course Wittner. The front window looked gorgeous; coloured shoes galore! As soon as we walked into the store, it felt like spring and we knew we would have no problem in finding a gorgeous pair of shoes to add some colour to any outfit. We got particularly excited by the  ‘pop your pumps’ coloured straps to add to any shoe. After our bright colour dose of popping colours, we found some pretty teal suede wedges to wear with the white craft look.

Our last stop on our Spring Summer shopping spree was Glue for some relaxing day wear and to stock up on some basic summer essentials. This Spring Summer, if you are after some denim shorts Glue is your best bet! Glue seems to be offering a huge variety of styles as well as everything being available in every colour possible! Once we had chosen some shorts, it was now all about the skinny leg jean. And we fell in love with the peach skinny legs as they are perfect for both the day, and for dressing up at night with some killer heels.

Once again, we had a very successful shopping trip at Westfield Doncaster. This spring summer there are just so many on season trends, with styles available to suit everyone’s unique taste. Now let’s just hope the way stays warm and sunny so we can style our latest additions to our Spring Summer wardrobe!
